Contributor Bio:  Bulion, Leslie Leslie Bulion is a freelance writer, with credits including Cicada, Child Magazine, and Parents Magazine, and is a regular contributor to www.education-world.com. She holds a Masters of Social Work from Southern Connecticut State University and has worked as a social worker in an elementary school and a hospital. A member of SCBWI, she spent a month traveling in East Africa with her anthropologist sister, her husband, and two daughters. She studied the Kiswahili language, and was welcomed into many Tanzanian and Kenyan family homes.
