The book is about what Native American and Canadian medicine men, healers and helpers do daily with their native clients. The central argument of the book is about the life , the medicine men, healers and helpers? interactions with native clients, the healing methods natives from USA and Canada use with their native clients and what they do within their communities. The book show case what Native American and First Nation medicine men, healers and helpers do with their clients. This is revealed through interviews and interactions and through the portrayal of the purpose of healing and ceremonies among the natives in Canada and the USA. This book is a follow-up on my earlier research on Yoruba Traditional healers of Nigeria, which was published by Routledge in 2003.
