Essays on the Internationalisation of Entrepreneurial Firms: Empirical Evidence from China
Congcong Zheng
This thesis concerns the phenomenon of international entrepreneurship. Based on organisational learning theory, it seeks to develop a model of the internationalisation process undertaken by entrepreneurial firms. The model divides firm's behaviours along three stages of internationalisation: pre-international-entry, during and post-entry. In a series of three essays, I investigate the learning processes and mechanisms at each stage.
