Fertility after tubal plasty
Cyrine Belghith
Distal tubal pathology is found in 26 % of couples who consult for infertility. Laparoscopic tubal plasty has improved the prognosis of these couples, in addition to in vitro fertilisation. It consists of adhesiolysis, fimbrioplasty or neosalpingostomy depending on the type of tubal damage. In this book, we analyse the epidemiological, clinical and prognostic aspects of tubal pathologies and the contribution of tubal plastic surgery in improving fertility.
