"School Resources and Performance in Developing Countries: A Resource-Based Perspective" This book highlights the highly contested ongoing research debate about the relationship between educational resources and school performance. Grounded in the strategic Resource-Based Perspective, this book presents current research with new insights on how to understand educational resources and school performance in developing countries given the diverse sociocultural and economic contexts. The Resource-Based Perspective suggest that specific educational resources and capabilities can lead to superior performance in business organizations such as schools. We demonstrate how Resourse-Based Perspective can be used as lens to inform educational theory and practice regarding making choices and decisions about resource provisions in underesourced settings. This volume advances the notion of resource sharing and use of satellite schools and its potential to allow schools especially in developing countries, to more efficiently and effectively use their current meager resources to optimize the benefits accruing to students and school performance.
