Will Jane succeed in getting rid of the demons that shattered her after a tour of duty under cover in Northern Ireland? Her undoubted skills are sought after and she is offered a post with MI6/Europol to work undercover in Bosnia to track down a wanted Serbian war criminal and identify a drugs route. But things change. Her work highlights something more grotesque. The same internicine hatred exists in Bosnia as in Northern Ireland - only the scale is different. Jane has to use all her skills to survive and, importantly, protect the innocent.
