A Warning from History: The Influenza Pandemic of 1918-1919

The 1918 Influenza pandemic was one of the most deadly events in human history, and uderstanding the events and experiences of 1918 is of great importance to pandemic preparation. The aim of the book is to address questions concerning pandemic origin, features and causes, and to provide the reader with an appreciation of the 1918 pandemic and its implications for future pandemics. This work will cater for both the science-orientated and general reader in these crucial areas of global and public health.
