Royce Paxton and the Dolphin crew returned to Earth, only to discover that their world had been completely destroyed. Earth's polarity had reversed and a new continent emerged where Atlantis had once been. This new continent was inhabited by a primitive people, who at one time had lived in a somewhat civilized culture. But now houses stood empty while the villagers lived in caves, almost as if time here was reversing. The Dolphin crew decided they must return to Uhuru, but first, they needed to steal a copper headstone which they believed contained answers to many questions concealed within. Did the nuclear war set the earthquakes in motion, destroying all land masses? Or was there another force which purposely destroyed all except for the Cathmore family?
