Differentiated book- It has a historical context with research of the time-The purpose of realizing this historical context is to approach the understanding of a historical epoch from the elements provided by the text. Hence the importance of placing the document in context. It is necessary to unravel what its author or authors have said, how it has been said, when, why and where, always relating it to its historical moment. James Boswell, ninth Laird Auchinleck (Edinburgh, October 29, 1740 - London, May 19, 1795) was a Scottish writer, lawyer, and aristocrat, known for his biography The Life of Samuel Johnson (1791, The Life of Samuel Johnson, LL. D.), English doctor, intellectual and man of letters from the 18th century (1709-1784). Son of Lord Auchinleck (read Lord Affleck), judge of the Supreme Court of Scotland, he studied law first at the universities of Edinburgh (1753-1758) and Glasgow (1758-1762), where he was a student of Adam Smith. Subsequently, he would complete his training in Utrecht. Before leaving for that city, he met Samuel Johnson in London on May 16, 1763, a figure whom he professed great admiration and with whom he would later be united by a great friendship
