Dichotomy Malcolm Rose

Dichotomy is defined as a division or contrast between two things that are or are represented as being opposed or different. When that contrast is found in a human being, specifically a black man, many times it is met with surprise, scrutiny, and skepticism as if multilayered, multifaceted, and multitalented aren't possible. They are labeled as contradictory at best but the labels get worse. As you read the words that follow in this book think of contrast and contradiction, multilayered and multitalented all rolled into one human being.
