Owen and the Championship Game
Wayne Anderson
The game is on the line. There is one second left on the clock and Owen's team is losing by one point. He is standing at the free throw line with two shots and can win the game. He takes his first shot and misses! He can still tie the game with one last shot. He aims and shoots, but the ball bounces off the rim and into the hands of the opponent. They have lost the game and Owen feels very bad. His friends, Tony, Fat Larry, and Fast Freddy, try to cheer him up, but it's no use. The coach has a secret that he shares with the team about his playing days. Could his words help the team in the upcoming championship game?
