William Michael Rossetti (1829-1919) became a chronicler and advocate for one of Victoria's most creative families. These two memoirs from 1906 provide an unprecedented insight into the history of the Rossetti family, covering his own childhood and the childhood of his siblings, the origins of the Pre-Raphaelite Brotherhood, and his relationship with Morris, Bern. Friendship of famous people like Jones, Swinburne and Browning. In fact, many members of Victorian art and literature circles appeared at some point in these books.
