War of the Worlds

The War of the Worlds is a science fiction novel, written by Wells, that describes a Martian invasion of Earth. It is the earliest known description of an alien invasion of Earth, and it has had an undoubted influence on subsequent abundant revisions of this very idea. Adaptations have been made to different media such as movies, radio shows, video games, comics and television series.
