Bob Dylan | Budokan 1978
The 4CD box set "The Complete Budokan 1978" marks the 45th anniversary of Bob Dylan's 1978 world tour and commemorates his first-ever tour in Japan with two notable shows at Tokyo's Nippon Budokan Hall on February 28 and March 1, 1978.
This set brings together 58 tracks, including 36 previously unreleased recordings, all freshly remixed from the original multi-track tapes by sound engineer Tom Suzuki.
Housed in a 12x12 inch box, this set offers a detailed 60-page book filled with previously unseen photographs from the tour, alongside a replica of the original 20-page tour booklet. The set also contains ticket stub replicas, two posters, and two replica print ads, adding a historic touch to the collection. The collection is adorned with new artwork created by the original art director, Teruhisa Tajima.
A 2LP-set titled "Another Budokan 1978" with 14 unreleased recordings from both shows will also be available. Comes with OBI-strip and 4-panel insert.
