Aphrodite's Child | 666 (Reissue 2024)

New 4-CD/1 Blu Ray set featuring remastered versions of the original album mix and the rare Greek LP mix from 1974 (which featured a significantly different mix than the original LP release). The Blu-ray disc contains a 96 kHz / 24-bit Atmos and 5.1 up mix and a stereo mix, all of which were overseen by Vangelis. The Blu-ray also includes a bonus video with a 28-minute long episode of the French TV show Discorama from June 1972, in which Vangelis appears in the TV studio and talks about the album (with English subtitles).

This set also includes a lavishly illustrated book with a new essay and original interviews with the band, as well as many never-before-seen photographs that Vangelis found in his various archives around Europe shortly before his death in May 2022.

In addition to the CD box set, the album is also released in a remastered 2LP edition.
