Hopeful, defiant, effervescent and euphoric – "Radio!! Radio!!" is the 20th album from Erasure, one of pop music's most beloved songwriting duos.
On the album, Andy Bell and Vince Clarke continue to refine and develop the pop universe they have built up over the past 40 years. The album's 10 songs revolve around love, loss and injustice and speak strongly into a time where empathy seems to be a scarce commodity.

"Radio!! Radio!!" is a deeply personal album, shaped by a period marked by great sorrow. When Erasure met to write the album, it was as much about lifting the spirits of an old friend as it was about the work – and this warmth and mutual care can be felt throughout the entire album.
The album transfers the magnificent sound from the duo's best works to a more personal and reflective songwriting. Bell acknowledges that it might be easier for him and Clarke just to switch on autopilot after 40 years together. But how could that be Erasure? “It's one brain split between two people, and everything we've been through becomes a part of it,” he says. “We feel a responsibility. We could never create anything insignificant.”
"Radio!! Radio!!" has roots in Erasure's characteristic synth-pop sound, but this time with some striking new elements. While working on the album's sound, Clarke was unusually drawn to the piano as well as the acoustic guitar. The instruments add both drama and depth, while still leaving plenty of room for the clear, sparkling synth-pop that Erasure has made their name on.
