Desire (1936)

Jewel thief Madeleine de Beaupre (Marlene Dietrich) uses American car designer Tom Bradley (Gary Cooper) to carry the pearls she lifted in Paris past Spanish customs agents. Romance ensues between the two strangers, leading to Madeleine going straight and living a life happily ever after in Detroit.
