Italian horror directed by Mario Bava. When 17th-century woman Asa Vajda (Barbara Steele) is accused of being a witch she is sentenced to burn at the stake. After a storm puts out the fire, she is then entombed, only to be revived 200 years later.
Surviving by feeding on blood, Asa plots to take over the body of one of her descendants, Katia Vajda (Steele), in a bid to become immortal. Can passing doctor Andre Gorobec (John Richardson) save Katia and stop Asa's evil scheme?
