The Possessed Lady in the Lake

Luigi Bazzoni and Franco Rossellini direct this Italian mystery thriller based on the novel by Giovanni Comisso. When Bernard (Peter Baldwin) arrives in a small Italian village in search of a beautiful woman, he is informed that she recently passed away. With the residents treating Bernard with coldness and an unwillingness to discuss the woman's death in detail, he begins to notice their zombie-like behaviour and wonders if they could be under some kind of spell.
