Dope

Coming-of-age comedy drama written and directed by Rick Famuyiwa. Malcolm (Shameik Moore) is a big fish in a small pond; he dreams of going to Harvard and becoming a lawyer but the stunted ideals of his family and school prevent most from going after their dreams. As Malcolm perseveres regardless, he and his friends are invited to an underground party which leads to an adventure of epic proportions involving drugs, gangs and half-naked women.
