Dream Horse

British drama starring Toni Collette and Damian Lewis. The film follows middle-aged Welsh bartender Jan Vokes (Collette) as she breeds and trains a champion racehorse. Enlisting her fellow villagers, including her husband Brian (Owen Teale) and accountant Howard (Lewis), to help fund the considerable investment by paying a weekly subscription, Jan rears the horse named Dream Alliance in the Welsh countryside until Philip Hobbs (Nicholas Farrell) agrees to train it for prestigious races including the Welsh Grand National.
