The Hangman

Michael Curtiz directs this American Western starring Robert Taylor and Tina Louise. When a robbery results in tragic consequences, it is up to Marshal Mac Bovard (Taylor) to apprehend the suspects and ensure that they are brought to justice. Nicknamed 'The Hangman' due to his notoriety for having guilty men hanged for their actions, Mac wastes no time in tracking down the crooks but reaches a stumbling block when he is unable to identify one member of the party.

A former lover of one of the men, Selah (Louise) may be able to help but her reluctance and that of the local townspeople stalls his investigation. Will Mac be able to persuade Selah to help him capture the criminal?
