As House Music continues to grow in popularity around the world, Oscar G's reputation as one of the most respected purveyors of authentic, quality House continues to rise as well. As one half of the renowned production team known as Murk, he was involved in creating some of the biggest House Records of all time including "Fired Up" under the Funky Green Dog moniker and "Dark Beat" along with Ralph Falcon. For his new album on Nervous Records, entitled "For The Culture", Oscar presents 12 original recordings that musically expand the boundaries of what fans typically expect from the genre, but at the same time retain the tribal house based, thick and layered percussive house elements that he's known for from America's club mecca's of Miami and New York to Europe, Asia and beyond. "For The Culture" includes musical contributions from several of Oscar's music collaborators in his hometown of Miami including DJ / Producer Lazaro Casanova, live percussion specialist and vocalist Oba Frank Lords, producer Stryke, vocalist Katiahshé and brass player Ronald Rodriquez.
