For the last 3 years Helicopter has been playing around Southern California, working on their songs and shows. In June 2009, the band went into the studio to record their first album. With 3 singers and 4 songwriters the material is diverse, but cohesive. Helicopter has the sound and songwriting talent of many of the great classic rock bands. From stadium rockers to beautiful ballads and everything in between, Helicopter's debut album 'Flight Risk' has something for everyone. With two members coming from England & New Zealand the music has a great mix of British classic rock and California rock n roll. Anyone who loves the classic rock bands of our time will love Helicopter's new record 'Flight Risk'.
