Absurd Xavier Black

Xavier Black began as the pen name for a young poet. Over the years that poet turned musician and took the name for his band. Xavier Black's first two four-track recordings, 'Dying Today,' December 02, and 'The Path You Choose,' March 03, were highly acclaimed by the few fortunate enough to acquire one. They were both pressed in limited quantities. The production has improved this time around, but stays true to the lo-fi style of the first two albums. 'the absurd' was recorded from March-May of 03 and was released on Introvert Records on January 28th, 2004. Hauntingly honest and at times uncomfortably intimate, Xavier Black's music speaks with truth and poetic delicateness.
