John Mays
John Mays is a 2 time Juno award winner (Canada's Grammy) and was born in 1941 in Dawson, Georgia (same year and hometown as Otis Redding). John "found a love" of music early in life, singing gospel as a child in the 40's, doo-wop in New York during the 50's, soul on the 60's chitlin' circuit, and funk in the 70's with James Brown.
