Mike Jackson is a songwriter whose first cut by Mac Wiseman was in the 80's, a song called 'Countin' Pennies', which appeared on Mac's MCA/DOT Master Series Album. Today, Mike continues to write and produce bluegrass from his Red Oak Sound Studios north of Nashville, Tennessee. This is Mike's freshman solo album, and features Ronnie McCoury on mandolin, Jason Carter on fiddle, Clay Hess on guitar, Charlie Cushman on banjo, and Robert Gateley on bass, along with a vocal backup perfomance from Sarah Peasall McGuffey of the Oh Brother Where Art Thou soundtrack.
