The music of Just Dave is a mixture of both modern acoustic rock, and classic acoustic rock. Heavily influenced by the 1970's era of music, Just Dave has a very unique sound that can't be compared to any specific artist. Just Dave also utilizes other modern influences such as alternative, and hard rock. Percussion based rhythms on the acoustic guitar accompanied by the lyrics inspired by life and all of it's' troubles. Dark lyrics dealing with depression, deceit, failure, and addiction are the messages in the songs that come across to the listener which are subtle but firm.
