Flowers Of Evil / Mountain Live (The Road Goes Ever On) Remastered edition
Mountain
Digitally remastered two CD set containing a pair of the New York rock band' albums, originally released in 1971 and 1972. Mountain featured Leslie West on guitar and the late Felix Pappalardi on vocals and bass. Mountain finally split in 1974, only to reform in 1981, with various new members and "off-on" reunions. Both albums made the US Top 100. The first (a #35 LP) is split between studio tracks ("Crossroader," the title song and more) and live ones including a rock 'n' roll medley and their signature smash "Mississippi Queen." The second includes a 17-minute "Nantucket Sleighride" plus "Long Red," "Waiting to Take You Away" and more live Mountain jams!
