Laced Records, in collaboration with Remedy Entertainment, is thrilled to release the extraordinary soundtrack of the critically acclaimed video game, Alan Wake 2, on vinyl.

Under the visionary guidance of Remedy's Creative Director Sam Lake, renowned for his deep appreciation and integration of music into gaming narratives, the album unfolds through several creative dimensions.

Petri Alanko, a frequent collaborator with Remedy on titles like Alan Wake, Quantum Break, and Control, returns as the primary composer. His latest work delivers a gripping and emotionally charged horror score that includes the hauntingly beautiful "Yötön Yö," a ballad performed by fan-favorite Martti Suosalo, the voice behind Ahti. Additionally, musical artist POE and Sam Lake have co-created "This Road," a four-part series of mesmerizing tracks that accompany protagonist Wake on his eerie journey through the Dark Place, serving as climactic end-of-chapter pieces.

The soundtrack also features return performances by Poets of the Fall, stepping back into their roles as the Old Gods of Asgard. They bring to life progressive rock masterpieces like "The Poet and the Muse," "Anger's Remorse," and "Herald of Darkness," with Matthew Porretta (voice of Alan Wake) and David Harewood (Mr. Door) contributing fictional vocals. Complementing these pieces, Fried Music and Nordic Music Partners have assembled a diverse group of top-tier songwriters to produce the 'Chapter Songs,' an assortment of unique, narrative-enhancing tracks that enrich the game's immersive world.
