This edition contains all existing master takes from the

Charlie Parker with Strings Verve recordings. That includes

all of Bird's studio masters with strings, which initially

appeared on Parker With Strings (Clef Records MGC-675), as

well as his professionally recorded Carnegie Hall set, fi rst

issued as Midnight Jazz at Carnegie Hall (Verve MV-2562).

As a bonus, we have added a rare alternate take of "Laura".
