Drawing a lot of his inspiration from old school sounds originating in places like Chicago, NYC and Detroit, Ric Mc Clelland has been hard at work in his native Belfast studio, releasing a steady string of EPs on some of House music’s hottest labels like Urban Torque, Large Music and NRK. The quality of his tracks placed him in 2008?s Beatport Top 10 for the ‘Best Deep House Artist’ alongside some serious heavyweights like Dennis Ferrer & Jimpster. Mixing chopped up vocals courtesy of NYC’s Mr. V with a rolling dubbed out disco sample, whilst dropping down into some synthy Detroitesque string action.
